Riddhiman Das spends his time working on and thinking about innovations in mobile and internet products.

With a background in east and west coast startups and Fortune 500 companies, Das has a wide range of experiences pertaining to his career in data science. He graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City where he studied Computer Science, Mathematics, and Entrepreneurship and Innovation.  Right now, he is working on a graduate degree in Computer Science specializing in Computer Vision, Image Processing and gossip-like distributed algorithms.

Das has been programming since he was 9-years-old and couldn't see himself doing anything else.

Longer Bio:

Riddhiman Das spends his time working on and thinking about innovations in mobile and internet products.

As an early technical member at EyeVerify, he's helping commercialize a software-only, biometric method for verifying the identity of mobile users called 'Eyeprints', which is based on the unique vein patterns in the whites of your eyes, and has fingerprint-level accuracy.

He also consults through Laplacian, a software consulting company he founded, that is based in Kansas City.

Previously, he's worked at bigger companies both in the East Coast and the West Coast, and has also started three startups, some of which did better than the others.

He graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City where he studied Computer Science, Mathematics, and Entrepreneurship and Innovation. He is currently working on a graduate program in Computer Science specializing in Computer Vision, Image Processing and gossip-like distributed algorithms.

On the engineering side, he particularly likes Image Processing, Computer Vision, Data Mining, Distributed Systems and Functional Programming Languages. He has worked on a wide variety of projects involving embedded systems development using short and medium range communication protocols, web development, enterprise application development, and mobile development.

He likes to autonomously deliver products from concept to launch. He has successfully tackled challenges in academia, industry and independent research. He has been in technology roles for over 8 years in a variety of industries, including wireless systems, chipsets, healthcare, biometrics and security, digital marketing, e-commerce, and govtech.
